2009 Ford Fusion hybrid spotted in the wild

Expected to be revealed in December at the LA Auto Show, the 2009 Ford Fusion hybrid represents the first hybrid four-door sedan for Ford and the first full hybrid four-door sedan from a US automaker. The Fusion hybrid’s expected to use the same Toyota-engineered system from the Ford Escape hybrid, which should provide a decent level of horsepower.  (Digg and comment this)

Subaru to show 2008 Impreza WRC Concept in Frankfurt

Subaru will preview the look of its 2008 WRC car at the Frankfurt show this september with the Subaru WRC Concept. The car basically shows us what Petter Solberg will be sliding around when next year’s World Rally Championship kicks off. The first Bentley to top 200 MPH! The Continental Speed GT

Bentley’s showing off its new Continental Speed GT. It’s got 600 horses under the hood and can hit 202 miles per hour, making it the first Bentley in series production to reach the double century mark. Not only it runs on wheat and sugar beet at 150-mph, going from 0 to 62 mph in less than four seconds, but the bill of materials looks like a salad: potatoes, cashew nut shells, rape seed oil and hemp. Toyota Supra Hybrid wins Tokachi 24-hour endurance race

The Denso SARD Supra HV-R, a retired 480-horsepower Super GT car converted to run as a hybrid with regenerative braking, in-wheel-motors in front, and a larger electric motor for the rear wheels, has won the Tokachi 24-hour race. New Porsche GT2 Brochure Leaked — First Factory 911 to Hit 200+ mph

A leaked brochure for the new Porsche 911 GT2 proves it’s a monster. 530 horsepower from the 3.6-liter, turbocharged flat six can get the GT2 from zero to 60 in 3.6 seconds and from zero to 100 in 7.4 seconds.
